Batman: “-So, until things settle down between Clark and me, it’s best that we don’t talk to each other for a while.” –Batman looked out the window, his right hand holding a small palm device that was beeping in front of him. The invisible jet kept them completely concealed as its aura gave off a heat like mirage allowing them to fly undetected by towards the island. Batman’s deep voice was plane Bruce Wayne with a stone cold tone within him. He clearly didn’t want to talk about it, but Diana had pried and he didn’t want to lie nor put up with her asking him all sorts of questions about what the potential problem could’ve been. Batman looked at the detection device and said.- “The coordinates are ahead of us…but I don’t see the island…Aquaman said-…” <c>
-It was then an island would suddenly appear after its own invisibility shroud disappeared. The Island was full of forest.- “Aquaman was right…He said it’s magical power source is probably a relic of some sort.” –Batman shifted his gaze to look at Wonder Woman. Aquaman had asked that she investigate this relic, however; once Batman got word on the scenario he didn’t trust Diana going alone and insisted tagging along, perhaps that was also why he told Diana the dispute between him and Clark. On the island it would be completely empty of natural life, no birds, deer, and fish. It would seem completely deserted, however; scanners would detect nearby structures of Greek Amazonian origin, it could’ve been a secondary objective while they were at the island they could investigate.- <c>
-The village itself was small with only 30 houses and 1 parliament meeting circle. White Pillars stood roughly 20 feet tall and carved from marble and stone. The walls decorated with Amazonian weapons with a strange banner containing a triangle with three rings lopping through each other in the form of a triangle. The flags were red with the silver triangle.
Wonder Woman: She originally hadn't liked the idea of being paired with Batman on this mission; in her mind he was a selfish brat at best, at worst an over zealous mortal with a thing against the Gods. She steered the invisible plane into land on the island. She deplaned and waited for Batman, taking in the weaponry and banner. "Well this is unexpected," she murmured, blinking. She didn't recognize the crest, but she certainly recognized the weaponry. She was certainly glad she had grabbed her shield, axe and sword in addition to her lasso. <C>
Wonder Woman: She cautiously turned to Batman, "Do you really think against a myth your logic will serve us better than my faith?" She enjoyed taunting him; his lack of faith in the face of the Gods, having a living, breathing avatar of the Olympians in front of him, it was... Frustrating. <E>
Thor: Thor and Mursona sat, within the long bladed grass. Well, more laid out upon the grass, sprawled out, with his love, Mursona close to him. Lightly, the wind blew through each's respective amount of flowing hair. The grassed moved in ripples, and essientially it was a moment of perfection within the Thunder Gods life. No words were spoken, nor were they needed to be. The location, was the former location of Uppsala. One of Odin's great temples in the late 11th century. What was once a great temple, a dedication to his father, was just a calm valley now. It's significance? It was Thor's favorite location on all of Earth. In times of frustration and confusion, Thor would come here, and meditate. It seemed his fathers wisdom was carried in on the winds. Now, it was a romantic spot, to a degree
Thor: Thor had let Mursona in on much more than he ever had, to Sif, or Amora. He was more open with her, than any other woman of his past. Why? With the womans ability to see into the future, and read his mind.. he pretty much needed to be. "Mursona.. I.." Thor began, as his fingertips combed lightly through his love's hair. "I greatly enjoy our time together, as of late." He spoke softly, but his words still would almost sound unemotional. He was still breaking down some of those barriers, for he was not just a warrior anymore.

Mursona: Mursona sat there for that very moment with the love of her life, whom saved her from herself long ago. Meaning that she was very emotional for all that has happened so quickly. You know what they say, what is lost can be found and saved and that's what happened. She was young at that time, didn't know any better and was still getting to know herself and her abilities. One out of the many that is very talented in mastering not only one power, but two. . . She sat there, allowing The Thunder God's fingertips run through her long, light blonde, and wavy hair. Her hair draped down tot he middle of her back; normally, she has it up in a messy bun to keep out of her face but she let it go free this time. His touch and presence alone made her feel at ease and gave her the most comfort that -C-
Mursona: no one else could provide for her. Her shockingly, ice blue colored eyes would shift to glance over at the male called Thor. A gentle smile crept on to those pale pink lips of her's as she listened to his words. It was true, they do spend so much time together but that was okay. She liked his company as much as he liked her's. At least, she hoped he did. She lifted a hand from her side and touched his forearm, allowing her finger tips to drag themselves across his skin, as if she was feeling it. Her musical tone of voice lifted in a soft tone, almost in a whisper. "As do I, Thor. . ." When it came to her abilities, she can use them near and far. With a touch, she could change your world around.-End-
-Batman listened to her taunts, examining her choice of equipment, all of which despite its total weight, seemed to hinder her in the least. Batman would confidently speak with a soft tone.- “I don’t doubt there are “Gods,” Diana. I would hardly call them such given their stance on allowing man-kind to sink to its current depths of poverty and strife is not something I would stand to worship or give respect to.” –Batman’s cape fell around his body concealing his entire being as he would exit the aircraft and onto the sand of the islands beach. He looked at the buildings and said.- “It’s ancient Greece…With Norse mythological symbols.” <C>
–Batman stopped to look at Diana, expecting her to seem dumb founded by the explanation.- “As a history professor at university, you *are* familiar with Norse mythology…? Gods from another astral plane were believed to have saved mankind from other mythological creatures such as Frost Giants and other titans…Very similar to your people’s mythology.”–Batman would then point opposing direction of the ruins.- “The signal is coming from over there.” <c>
–The device indicate that the object being sought was a bright blue cube with demonic symbols upon it glowing bright white, to touch it or pick it up would be harmless and would cause no direct harm nor would any action come if Batman or Wonder Woman interacted with it. Batman didn’t move, however; allowing Diana to decide whether they investigate the ruins or retrieve the artifact.-
Wonder Woman: "You must have forgotten," she muttered, her tone a little disgusted as her eyes cut to Bruce. "Ms Lane exposed me in the Daily Planet. I lost my teaching position and I'd be in Cadmus next to Clark if her Highness hadn't stepped in to make me her ambassador and give me diplomatic immunity." She let out a sigh, moving on. Thinking of Martha Kent, who had been like a mother to her as well; alone on the farm. Desperately she wanted to get back to her. "Let's just get this over with," she muttered, her feet silently padding through the sand. "And I recognize the Norse symbols; I have been witness to a war between them and my Gods. I am not a fan." <C>
Wonder Woman: Her voice trailed off as her pale blue eyes caught sight of the blue cube. "That must have been what caused the energy spike," she spoke softly. She knew Bruce thought of her as a Ludite; technologically and intellectually his inferior. Too bad for him the warrior was as well read as he was. She just didn't feel the need to prove herself. Her armory didn't weigh or slow her down even a step, and Batman would be under pressure to keep up. She stopped short of touching the glowing cube. "This is not of my culture," she said definitively. "Nor Orin's," meaning Aquaman; Atlantian culture was similar. They served the same Gods. <E>
Thor: Thor was at piece. For the moment anyways. Slowly, Thor had a smile come across his face, that was large enough to have looked painted on. Slowly, his eyes sauntered shut as he looked to deliever a kiss. In the middle of this deeply emotional moment between the two, all of a sudden, a feeling of sickness came over both Thor and Mursona. Thor immediately knew the feeling, as he'd encountered it a few times, specifically before he was bonded with Eric Masterson. A temperal field erupted, and near set fire to the long bladed grass near the temple. The man that emerged from the field was recognzsable. The Tomorrow Man. Zarkko was once considered a fiend, and a villian to Thor, something inside of him instinctively put Thor into warrior mode, but he quickly dropped his guard, when he got a<c>
Thor: a better sight of the man. Probably due to the fact that since Zarkko specifically prevented the future in which Thor himself was a tirant. The sick feeling ensued as Zarkko collasped to his knees, weak. With further examination, Thor noted the man was beaten, badly. Inches away from death. Abandoning their cuddle time, for the moment, Thor moved to the man, and set a hand upon him. "What is.. What is it that has befallen you?" Thor asked, and shot Mursona a look, insisting that she open her abilites, and search the man's mind, to give some sort of backstory on why the man was such a wreck.
Mursona: Mursona knew that look of his very well to know what he asked of her. A soft sigh slipped between her lips, of course she had to come in to the picture instead of just simply getting a response from the man. She wasn't the kind to just be on her feet really, she liked to wait for something to come forth, but this was a different situation all together. She complied and rose to her feet. She wore a white gown that draped down to the ground, light it was; the straps hanging off her shoulders and the back open. Her gown dragged behind her as she made her approach to the both of them. Not many spoke of Zarkko, but it was time to get to know him. There's a lot of things that are not meant to be seen by the eyes of the innocent, but she's not innocent. Not one little bit. She's witnessed -C-
Mursona: have experienced all that has happened. Taking a deep breath, she lowered herself to sitting upon her knees in front of the one called Zarkko. The mind is a scary place, yes, but she wasn't afraid. That's what made her special in her own little ways. The color in her eyes faded slowly to a pale blue, almost gray as a sign of activating her abilities within and in control of them. Lifting a hand, she gently stroked the other's cheek as a sign of comfort before leaning forward to touch her forehead to his own. Her lips parting ever so slightly to whisper softly to the other; words of comfort to help relax the mind to gain easy access. She had to be gentle, of course. It was a process that was delicate. Then again, she can bend reality itself if she were tempted or driven to madness -C-
Mursona: in a sense. She couldn't see much, but it was enough to know that he was beaten with a weapon of some sort, possibly something heavy. Many questions came in to mind, and many different results came up. All she could say is that he could of tried to fend off someone but failed and ended up in their grasp. Getting so close to the answer to all this, she was kicked out of his mind which made her jerk away from him and raised a hand to her head as she lowered it. Strands of her blonde hair fell in her face to cast a shadow over it. It felt like someone beat her in the head with a pipe or something. All she could hope is that this situation was nothing serious. She can't force her powers against the will of others. That's not how it works. The person has to be willing, but as of right now.. -C-

-Batman stopped and kneeled down to examine the device.- “Indeed.” –Batman would analyze it to check for secret switches or anything of the likely hood. Batman then picked up the cube and looked around expecting something to happen. Batman held the palm pad to the cube and scanned it.- “It’s giving off a low level radiation…Potentially harmful to me, you it shouldn’t cause too much damage given your regeneration. Its power output is incredible despite being relatively low. The scanner estimates there is still another 100 years of energy within this small cube. The symbols appear…like some ancient dialect. “Someone is going to come looking for it.” –Batman’s blue gaze looked to Wonder Woman’s own sapphire eyes, his jaw stiffening and his hands clutched tight together before he began looking around for any signs of danger.- “I think we need to get out of here. Aquaman might know what to do with this from here…” -It was then that sand would burst underneath Batman and Wonder Woman and throw both of them a part, as Dark Angel; otherwise known as Donna Troy. She was wearing a red dress with pale white skin, almost ghastly in appearance while crimson lips pulled into a chaotic grin. <c>
-Dark Angel would swing her fist at Wonder Woman and release a sonic scream almost deafening as it caused her black and gray stringed hair to blow back. A volley of fists from Dark Angel went to pound into Diana’s armor. Batman would stumble and drop the artifact. Rolling onto his stomach Batman pushed him to stand up and began backing away from the two Amazons.-
Wonder Woman "Sister!" Diana shouted, raising her shield to defend against Donna's attacks. Through tricks of time, Diana was stronger, taller and faster than what was originally her twin. She watched as Bruce rolled away. Even while Diana was stronger and able to withstand Donna's attacks, Bruce would not be so lucky. Her best bet would be to bind Donna in the Lasso of Truth and compel her dearest blood to devulge what was going on. "Batman, get the cube," she said, her voice devoid of panic, the practiced voice of an experienced leader in battle. She saw him backing away from Dark Angel and Diana. <C>
Wonder Woman: To get the lasso on Donna, Diana had to let her shield drop, whic allowed the other Amazon to land a lucky punch. Diana stumbled back a few steps in the sand but recovered quickly, her wrist snapping the lasso out with a well practiced flick. It pulled tight around Donna, and when she jerked it, her sister fell to Diana's feet. "What do you want with that?" She said, keeping her voice as neutral as she could even though it pained her to see Donna like this. <E>
